Lubricants for wire drawing – TECNOVO
A branch of the TKT Group focusing solely on lubricants and auxiliary chemicals for wire drawing and wire processing. The product range in this sector is broad and covers both wet and dry towing.
TECNOLUBRE – line of lubricants for dry drawing
The range offers a whole new generation of dry drawing soaps which is the result of extensive research and the commitment to improve efficiency and product quality. This has led to the formulation of soaps bringing a number of in-process improvements – no borax, no dust in the working environment and reduced lubricant consumption. They have a higher melting point that may be adjusted according to the customer’s specific needs and allow for increased drawing speed. They exhibit better solubility in water, have cleaner wire surface, and reduce the appearance of black lumps on the die.
SINTEK – oils and liquids for wet drawing
Premium wet-draw lubricants provide excellent lubrication with instant water solubility and emulsion stability. The wet wire drawing product range is formulated with natural ingredients from renewable sources, ensuring its biodegradability and environmental friendliness. Combining detergent and lubricating properties with outstanding resistance to contamination caused by soaps that may enter this stage of the process from previous dry drawing.
TECNOFIX – pastes and greases for drawing
Emulsifiable pastes, detergents, fats and high purity powders containing natural soaps and additives to stabilize the dry soaps used in preceding steps. Usually only used in the last step of the drawing or in monoblock machines. The paste heats up as a consequence of the temperatures generated during wire drawing, which leads to its liquification, and its properties then become comparable to those of wet drawing lubricants. The products are enhanced with additional anti-corrosive elements.
TECNOLINE – products for wire rods and wire coatings
Wire preparation products with low, medium and high carbon levels. Tecnoline baths are versatile, non-corrosive, durable and easy to use, even for considerably different concentrations. With Tecnoline products, uniform and non-hygroscopic coatings may be achieved. The coatings can be easily cleaned, which is particularly desirable in applications where the brightness of the surface is a priority.
KONER
Koner are high-quality wire drawing products. The whole manufacturing process consists of selecting the appropriate tungsten carbide based powder, press powder and picking the sintering process. Afterwards, the raw tips are assembled and ground according to the client’s requirements. Our knowledge of the technology enables us to support the customer throughout the entire manufacturing process, from powder to final die.
Revolution in wire drawing
A brand-new technology in the production of dies offers significant economic savings. K.340 PRESSURE DIES are consisting of 3 parts forming a single unit. The steel casing and the tungsten carbide extrusion part are installed permanently, only the inner part changes – the tungsten carbide die, whose service life is determined by the wear level. The last component can be easily replaced without the need to dispose of the remaining parts. This technology dramatically reduces the costs and increases the efficiency of the tool.
Another advantage of this technology is the application of exact dosage of lubricant, which significantly saves its consumption, ensures constant production, improves and unifies the quality of the finished wire at the maximum drawing speed.
TECNOSIDER
TECNOSIDER offers a range of additional products for the wire drawing industry – pulling-in dogs, stainless steel, polyamide or polypropylene wire brushes in various lengths and diameters, wiping pads, galvazak (a product for continuous galvanizing of steel wire and strips).
